FAME : Sixth Annual Fashion And Media Extravaganza!*!*!*

WoW Chicago Is Among The Most World Renowned Talent Ever!!! This Wonderful Afternoon I got to Visit the Harris Theatre at The Millennium Park for the Sixth Annual FAME 2011!!! The show was hosted by the Always Beautiful and Sweet Erica Strama.Erica is your go- to fashion gal for all things at the Shops at Northbridge and beyond!!! I have never been to a show by The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago, that's why I just love writing about these events because you get more involved with the Entire Chicago Fashion Community and learn about Fashion Shows that are not widely advertised but turn out to be some of the best events!

It was held in the perfect venue for such a big crowd--- and oh my gosh this place was Jam Packed!*!*! The show started with such great music to add to the tempo of the models and the fashions. All the fashions flowed onto the stage one after the other and the only thing that was missing was the actual designers after each act---but I guess it was all due to a time crunch....I still don't know how they fit so many Fashions all within an hour...but they sure managed to pull it off---Plus it was a media show immediately following showcasing all the Media Arts!

The Fashion Show was Creatively broken down in Scenes to emphasize the idea of it being a show perhaps... As I always love to do I am going to share my favorite designs from the evening and there were so many but my absolute favorite was this collection from Scene 4:Brighten Up. The Collection by Faatymah Kitt titled A Night at the Sea was for sure the one I adored as the designs glided across the stage I could not contain my excitement and I just burst into my moment of "Wow's and Ahh's and gave it a big applause at the very end...and I have a feeling it was last in that scene due to the WOW factor it possessed...

Scene 1:Recycled, Repurposed, Re-Fashioned During this scene at times I forgot that these items were somehow designs that were reused in some form! This Beautiful Bright Red Fuchsia Piece from Audra Kaske was just like whoa!!! I don't know if it's the models and how good they look In these designs but all the pieces made me want to wear it out to some fun fashionable event around Chicago...

Elizabeth Leukuma line was titled Future 3010 and already the title alone catches my attention and this dynamic piece was one that really was eccentric...

Audra Kaske from Bed and Bows was really cool...who knew one could take bedding and Bows and make such finely tailored designs?!? I love it just for fun!

Scene 2: Urban Excess Started with the cutesy little ones modeling designs by Michael Schellenbach he call his line Oliver Twisted!

Kathleen Hermes line titled Autumn Gypsies was super fun yet sexy with this one piece with cutout's and small hearts pattern on this jumper...

Love Alexander-el's line:Zip Files was among the most amazing too me and I am just LOVING how this two piece set with cutouts along the shoulder bone and hip area plus the hood on the top, yeah that is something I would for sure wear proudly with heels in the springtime!!!

Orisis Carriche's line titled Juex'del Amour was really rocker, glam, and structured in design and I really enjoyed ogling over these designs...

Scene 3: Hats Off was well all Hats!...Amazing And Intricately detailed Designed Hats!!!
They were all so Wonderfully made and with all so many Intricate details. I would love to wear any of these hat designs to a Fun Party or Fashion Show.
Here are my most enjoyed pieces to see...
Magda Szyffer SCARLETT

Joshua Frederick HAKU HA

Scene 4: Brighten Up, was totally the highlight for me...there were so many designs I loved from this Scene.
Patricia McDowall's line titled Vintage Barbie speaks for itself and is truly timeless...

Then more cute little cuties wearing Balogun Badadamilioia: Prepping Up The Dance Floor..
.

Then once again these amazing and adorable little models appeared for Sarah Goecke:Whirling Dervishes...

Kathleen Knits:Spring Knits featured many luxuriously knitted designs that looked perfect for tea time and had beautiful bright colors.Plus Other Designers from Scene 4...

Garbrielle Curtis:Tea Party featured more girly and adorable Girls Designs for Little Princesses.Artemis Loci :1700's Menswear featured  a classy and classic blue houndstooth and leather jacket that is truly unique yet timeless.

Scene 5: Action Packed, featured many designs for sports, exercising or just lounging about...

Scene 6: Cherchez La Femme Vixens & Vamps was a very glamorous and interesting scene. The feature piece for me was this design by Artemis Loci:Greek Goddess which although typical Grecian wear it was still very beautifully detailed and once again a timeless poesy of fashion from history...

Scene 7: Green is the New Black was a fun and vibrant collection, with many pieces that I am already obsessing over! One designer in particular I really enjoyed was Nina Nguyen:DAFFODILS. Her design was beautifully detailed and love the colors for a fun summer look...

The final Scene 8: Bridal Unveiled was a beautiful way to end the fashion portion of FAME 2011...

Monica Shuppe:RUSTIC ELEGANCE featured a Show-stopper with an amazing train that comes off easily and reveals a fun cocktail dress...

Of course The White Swam By David McIntosh was a beautiful way to a delightful show of so many talented designers from The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago...
