This Mother's Day Weekend Chicago Magazine Green Award 2011 Recipient held a special Mother's Day Invite Party Extravaganza!!! Lara Miller the powerhouse behind dare I say...Chicago's Fashion Community. She is the Director of CFI(Chicago Fashion Incubator) & has had much success with her own line Lara Miller. Yet her personality is such a breath of fresh air that you would never believe that she has accomplished oh so much while only in her early thirties!!! And well you know I am ever so passionate about all things & people sweet and humble^_^ Upon arriving to the Party I immediately knew that we had arrived upon the correct space when I saw the Lara Miller Banner that stood upon the entrance...
Upon arriving I immediately said hello to some fellow ladies, then warmly greeted a fellow fashion beauty well known right here in Chicago:Katie of NowYOUKnow!!! I saw here makeup was done with an artistic Flair and she told me she got her makeup done by Anita Arsova, a make-up artist on site at the event...
Later I got to speak with Anita and she is just one of those ladies that are so artistic and cool that you want to hang around and learn more! Anita also is a Pro-Hairstylist at the Bailey Hughes Salon here in Chicago. I will definitely keep her in mind for my upcoming projects, as she did flawless work and was a pleasure to be around.
Then finally I got to say hello to Lara! She was so sweet & welcoming to everyone. Then of course she looked super cool in her Lara Miller designs...
I got to browse around with Katie and others while doing so Lara Explained that many of her pieces were marked down like say from 178..to 38!?! YES!!!
The Mary Capelet made my eyes sparkle and Lara explained that it was an older piece from 2005---so I now have what can be considered a Vintage Piece Lara Miller Piece!!! I immediately fell in love with the Mary Capelet that can be worn so many different ways.
Plus you know Lara is all about the persevering of the environment
and as my shopping bag I got this cute tote...
It was a Wonderful fun Time to be had during A Lovely Mother's Day Weekend ♥♥♥
