The SAIC: School of The Art Institute of Chicago show was phenomenal!!! Held at the Millennium Park Chase Promenade North Tent. The Millennium Park is home to various Chicago activities & The Highly anticipated Fashion Shows Every Fall.The energy and enthusiasm for the show was all around. The models were all as fly as can be and made each piece worn magically come alive. Each and every collection that hit the stage was unique with individual personality.The craftsmanship and care taken on these designs was nothing short of magnificent.Many influences were seen from Pop & Do Wop~ I was taken on a journey with each collection, beheld a special moment in time...
The draping, details on these designs are awe-inspiring.!.!

Today I was reminded why I love to do what I do...experience fashion shows and share my experiences with you right here!I hope to one day travel all over the globe and experience as many fashion shows as I can. For right now I'm loving the local Chicago talent that so many designers here posses. Let it be known that if you an aspiring designer or want to try it out-Chicago is the place to be! So many great schools here and amazing opportunities for someone who wants to do it big while still marinating that local loyalty. The show ended with all the designers coming out on the stage with some of there designs. There will be an evening show tonight at 7pm with a dinner reception to follow. If you'd like to purchase any of the pieces in the show there will be a runway sale Friday, May 6, 12:00-5:00pm.!!!
