The event was held at uber cool Tula Boutique which is owned by Mother & Daughter Team Sue and Laura ♥. Geez this girl Laura is super cute & not to mention young! I saw her with a friend when I got into the boutique. They looked so cute I had to take a picture...
The thing is I didn't realize Laura(above right) was part of the mother daughter duo that owned the cozy and dainty boutique! So I had to re-introduce myself properly and congratulate Laura on her entrepreneurial spirit. And not to mention the longevity of being in business---
Tula has been in Lakeview for six years and their first store titled Panache in Grand Haven, MI has been in business for 19 years. That's AWESOME!

Okay so lets rewind ....When I arrived at the ChiTown Fashionista and Tres Awesome event I of course had to get my picture taken for the Tres Awesome photo contest! Which for me was the entire highlight of the event! The contest was to showcase your best street style look and to win prizes from Haute Closet, Elyse Marie Venie, and Wilfred Newman Hand Tailored Apparel!

The crowd was of course super stylish by way of the effortless style. This event was all about the looks! I wanted to see what everyone had on! I also got to mingle and laugh with so many fellow bloggers, upcoming fashion designers and well known designers....

I have yet to see the film "Bill Cunningham New York", but I am eager to see it very soon. I believe nowadays so many fellow writers, bloggers and photographers in the fashion world don't do what we do for notoriety---it's about doing what we love and sharing it with the world. Thus I am very curious to see this sort of behind the scenes look at Bill Cunnningham's work. It's playing at the Music Box Theatre located at 3733 N.
