GLAMORAMA 2011 For A Glorious Cause!!!

Friday August 12th 2011 at 1p.m. Media and fabulous friends got to get first view of THE COOLEST SHOW OF THE SUMMER!!!---Macy's Artrageous GLAMORAMA!!!!! Held At The Majestic Chicago Theatre. The countdown began and it was T-minus 60 seconds to the start!

Behind all the Glamor this show has a specific purpose: To benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Bruno Mars appeared on the stage screen and we heard the heartwarming story of Alisha Van Fosson. Alisha was born with a very rare type of Spina Bifida & throughout complications from it she developed Arnold Chiari Malformation of the Brain, Intercranial Hypertension, Cranial Cervical Instability & A total of 33 surgeries throughout her lifetime. You would never guess these things if you are a classmate of hers she maintains a 4.0 GPA throughout all her advanced classes & Is an active volunteer in her community. What touched me the most is when her Mother said Alisha would be in a wheelchair if it wasn't for Ronald McDonald House Charities specifically The Ronald McDonald House near University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. Alisha and her family have a home away from home when Alisha seeks medical care in various Ronald McDonald Houses.

Portion's of the ticket proceeds from Macy's Presents GLAMORAMA 2011 will help build THE WORLDS LARGEST Ronald McDonald House that will be located right in the pulse of the City of Chicago ---Downtown.

When I tell ya this was not to be missed I mean it! The party started off with a beautiful ballet performance that quickly turned to Pop-ballet. A Princess & Prince Dance Number with some of the most adorable children doing ballroom dancing! The High Energy performances from Far East Movement and Cee Lo Green!

This event was such a Marvelous! Glamorous! Must See Theatrical Melody!--- On a whole another level. Most importantly for such A Glorious Cause that will continue on the path to save more lives like Alisha.
